Program Open Monuments Day Wassenaar on Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14, 2025

Guided tours will be given at several Open Monuments; the tours starting at specific times are listed below. During the day itself, a member of the organization will be present at Windlust Mill to answer questions.

OPENING
11:00 – 11:15 Opening by Mayor de Lange and Mr. Keijzer, chairman of the Wassenaar Open Monument Day Committee, with raising of the flag at De Paauw Town Hall.
11:30 – 12:30 Bike tour on the Fietsmaatjes tandem bike by Mayor Mr. de Lange, Alderman Mr. Zoutendijk, and Mr. Keijzer, chairman of the Wassenaar Open Monument Day Committee, past two monuments.

11:00 AM Guided tour of De Paauw Town Hall in Dutch
11:00 AM – 3:00 PM Rijksdorp Bunker Complex tour/visit lasts approximately 20-30 minutes
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Guided tour of Deer House
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Guided tour of the Good Shepherd
12:00 PM Guided tour of De Paauw Town Hall in Dutch
1:00 PM Guided tour of De Paauw Town Hall in Dutch
2:00 PM Guided tour of De Paauw Town Hall in English
3:00 PM Guided tour of De Paauw Town Hall in Dutch
3:00 PM Lecture in the Village Church by Mrs. R. Nelisse
ACTIVITIES
